The Village Method

Because no one is meant to do this alone.

The Village Method is a postpartum recovery and wellness approach that combines intelligent movement, nervous system support, and community connection for women and caregivers navigating life after baby.

It’s not about bouncing back.
It’s about being held while you rebuild.

Whether you gave birth, adopted, used a surrogate, or stepped into a caregiving role, if you are in the trenches of caring for a baby, you deserve support.

It takes a village. This is yours.

This Isn’t Your Typical Postpartum Workout

We’re not here to “crush a workout.”

We’re here to:

  • Reconnect to your core and pelvic floor (without doing damage)

  • Move your body in a way that actually supports recovery, both physically and emotionally

  • Regulate your nervous system (because yes, that matters)

  • Build strength that translates to real life—holding, feeding, carrying, surviving

This is smart, intentional movement layered with real-life postpartum strategy.

Also:

  • If your baby cries, we keep it movin’

  • If you need to feed, feel free to nurse or feed

  • If you’re exhausted, maybe stillness is the thing you need most and thats ok.

No pressure. No pretending.

How This Started

(spoiler: this wasn’t the plan)

I found myself surprisingly pregnant at 40.

Now I’m navigating the wild, humbling, hilarious reality of single motherhood at 41.

What I thought I knew about strength, my body, and recovery?
Yeah… the universe had other plans.

What I’ve learned instead:

  • It actually does take a village

  • Women (and the people who support them) are unbelievable

  • And you don’t “get your body back”… you build something new

Before this chapter, my life was rooted in dance, fitness, nutrition, and mindfulness.

I understood the body from a performance and training perspective.

Now?
I understand it from the inside out; recovery, hormones, exhaustion, healing, identity shifts, all of it.

This work is where those worlds meet.
